Payment

1.) Payment: A refundable deposit is required to confirm and hold your chair cover/sash booking any damages or missing items will be deducted from the refundable deposit charged at £4.00 per chair cover, £2.00 per sash, £4 per Table Runner and £20 per Table Cloth. Full payment will then be due 14 days prior to the wedding day. Failure to make this payment deadline may result in goods and services not being dispatched or undertaken. Payments can be made by bank transfer, paypal or Debit/ Credit card.

 

Payment by Invoice.

 

1.) All invoices are required to be paid within 30 days from the date of the invoice, unless agreed otherwise with Celebration Chaircovers.

2.) If the customer fails to make payment of an invoiced amount by the due date (whether as a result of incorrectly entering information in Online Payments, a declined payment, or otherwise) the customer may be liable for late payment penalties or interest;

3.) By providing credit card details to Celebration Chaircovers, the customer authorises Celebration Chaircovers to charge the nominated invoiced amount owed to the credit card.

4.) If the customer believes a payment transaction is incorrect or was not processed as entered or is unauthorised, or otherwise disputes the payment made, the customer must advise Celebration Chaircovers in writing in the first instance setting out reasonable details of the disputed payment;  Celebration Chaircovers must investigate the dispute within a reasonable period.

5.) Where a dispute exists between the customer and the customer's credit card provider, Celebration Chaircovers may provide relevant payment transaction information to the credit card provider, without user notification, to assist in resolution of the dispute and the customer agrees to the disclosure of this information for those purposes; and the customer accepts that Celebration Chaircovers has sole discretion in determining if a transaction is valid or invalid without reservation and further accepts that Celebration Chaircovers is not responsible for its third party credit card processors, its online payment system and interfaces with associated processors, and bank processing arrangements.

6.) Failure to make payment of any invoice due will result in legal action being taken.

 

 

2. Deposits: Payment of £49.99 or £25.00 is taken as a deposit, when ordering table cloths or orders over £300 the deposit is £75.The deposit is paid to hold the stock for your event and also to cover any damages to hired items. The deposit is refundable unless of a cancellation please see (section 5 Cancellation), or if items are damaged when hired please see (section 7 Damage), or if any other charges have been applied see (section 10 Collection Day).  All deposits are refunded by cheque, card or paypal normally within 28 days of the collection date, less any charges. If Celebration Chaircovers is unable to find the original deposit payment method then the deposit will be kept on file until the customer contacts Celebration Chaircovers. Celebration Chaircovers is unable to refund cards that did not make the original deposit payment.

 

2A. Adjustments: Final numbers must be confirmed a minimum of 14 days prior to the booking date in order for adjustments to be made to the final invoice if the quantity change is more than 10. For changes less than 10, a notice period of 14 days will apply. No refunds will be issued after this date.

 

Wedding Packages: When hiring a wedding package numbers can only be adjusted higher than the package amount and the price will be based on our current individual chair cover & sash rate at the time the order is adjusted, wedding packages can not be adjusted lower than the package amount that has already been booked.

 

Any increase in numbers will be charged accordingly.The Final balance is due 14 days before the event date.


3. Insurance: It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the hired items are fully covered by either their own insurance or the venues insurance with regard to public liability risks. Celebration Chair covers will not be liable with respect to any claims made by any person for the death, personal injury or damage caused by or in conjunction with the hired items from Celebration Chair covers including fitting services.

 

4. Ownership: Goods at all times remain the property of Celebration Chair covers.

 

5. Cancellation: In the event of a cancellation prior to the event the deposit will be retained however no further charges will apply. Exceptions apply only in the case of postponement of the event subject to availability. 

We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. Possible reasons for cancellation include, but are not limited to the following:

Potentially fraudulent order. Before shipping orders, we run a check to make sure they are legitimate. If the check fails, we may cancel your order.

Incorrect pricing. Due to the sometimes volatile market for collectible products, sometimes there are major fluctuations in price. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove any item from any order and provide a full refund to the customer for that item.

Non-Payment.If payment is not received within a reasonable amount of time (currently 14 days before the event) after the order has been placed, we may cancel an order without notice.

 

6: Access: It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the chairs being covered on the day are set up and ready for fitting by the venue staff at the agreed access time on the booking form.

 

7. Damage: Standard laundering of hired items is included in the price quoted. This includes removable light stains from food, drink and light scuff marks from shoes. However, if upon inspection after your event we find that irreversible damage has been caused to our hired items, for example rips, footprints, drawings, cigarette burns, candle wax, mold and excessive stains & scratches etc then this will result in damaged goods being charged at full replacement value. Charges will be made on a ‘per item’ basis from the refundable deposit. If damage to items is more than the £49.99 or £75 deposit this will result in the full replacement fee being charged as per the Replacement Price directly to your card. If payment has been made by another method then you will be sent an invoice to make payment within 7 days.The remaining balance after payment for any damage will be returned in full to the hirer within 28 days of replacement.

Substitutions cannot be accepted.

 

8. Shortage: The hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of all hired items from collection through to return to Celebration chair covers. All items must be checked for shortages or damages upon delivery and notified to us the same day, any items notified to us as missing after the day of delivery will be classed as lost or damaged by the customer and charged as per replacement, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify us. Upon collection/receipt of goods after hire, if any hired items are missing then we will try to inform you accordingly. If the missing items are returned within 14 days after the event no charges will be applied. Failure to return the missing items will result in the full replacement fees being charged as per the Replacement Price directly to your card. If payment has been made by another method then you will be sent an invoice to make payment within 7 days.

 

 

9a. Delivery: Delivery is made between the hours of 9am -5pm Monday to Friday but on some occasions for example bank holiday periods deliveries can be made up to 7pm, It is the responsibility of the person who booked the order to make sure that the items are signed for. We deliver upto 3 days before the event to avoid any delivery problems this means your delivery can take place on any of these days. Time for delivery is given as accurately as possible but is not guaranteed. The Customer shall have no right to damages or to cancel the order for failure for any cause to meet any delivery time stated.
(b) The date of delivery shall in every case be dependent upon prompt receipt of all necessary information, final instructions or payment being obtained from the Customer. Adjustments by the Customer may result in delay in delivery and adjustment of the pricing.

9b. Collection: Celebration chaircovers will collect the hired items in the days after the event has taken place from the event location or from a location that has been confirmed in advance. Goods must be ready and available for collection in the sacks/boxes provided at the agreed time. Any failed collections will be charged for accordingly.


10. Collection Day: Collections will take place on the day stated when placing your order, it is your responsibility to make sure the items are ready for collection. All labels are provided in the box for return along with cable ties, failure to attach the return labels will result in the box or boxes not being collected and the following charges could apply.

1.) Replacement of labels - £3.00 per box

2.) Replacement of missing box - £20 per box

3.) Raise a 2nd collection due to failure of 1st collection - £10.50 (Please note: We send an email and a text message to notify you of collection time)

4.) Items not collected after a 2nd collection attempt will be charged at - £20 per day.

If for any other reason Celebration Chaircovers is unable to get the items back due to any other reason a same day courier will be dispatched to collect the items and any related costs will be charged to the customer.  If the goods are not received by us within 7 working days then you will be liable for the full cost of the goods.

 

11. Marketing Emails: Marketing Emails refers to any promotional email communication. The information transmitted in these emails is intended only for the person(s) or entity to which it is addressed and may contain proprietary, confidential and/or privileged material. If you have received an email in error, please contact the sender. Although the emails and any attachments are believed to be free of any virus, it is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that they are virus free and no responsibility is accepted by the sender for any loss or damage arising in any way from the receipt or use thereof. Errors and omissions are excepted. Images are used for illustrative purposes only. Prices valid for the indicated time period only. Offer pricing only available on the online store.

 

12. Celebration chair covers will not take any responsibility if sash colours do not match the theme of your wedding, we offer samples of all items and urge you to purchase a sample and check the items before placing an order.

 

The Site is a UK based website owned by Celebration Chaircovers and complies with the Data Protection act relating to the personal information you supply online.

Any personal information that you provide to Celebration Chaircovers whilst contracting with these entities is stored and controlled by Celebration Chaircovers  Unit 18, Palace Ind Est, Parkwood, Kent ME15 9XU
